New Hope Fellowship is a Christian family of faith partnering in ministry with the poor and particularly the homeless in Fairfax, VA

Our mission is worshipping, loving, following, and submitting to Jesus; loving and sacrificially helping each other, and reaching out to our community with the forgiving, saving, healing, restoring love of Christ.

“Assuredly, I say to you, in as much as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you did it to me.”

What We Do

Since 2001, New Hope Fellowship Church, a Wesleyan family of faith, founded and led by our Lord Jesus, has met Sundays in Chantilly, VA. The congregation is our currently and previously homeless neighbors, most of whom come via one of NHF’s two 15-passenger vans. A light breakfast is served and a full meal is served after the service.

New Hope also sponsors movie night at the Lamb Center, and we are open all day on Thanksgiving, providing breakfast, worship service, and a Thanksgiving feast. We provide traditional holiday meals as well as gifts and baskets at Christmas and on Resurrection Sunday. New Hope, in connection with community partners, directly or indirectly provides assistance with shelter, camping and school supplies; clothing, food, rent, and utilities; education, job referrals, and transportation support.

Members give sacrificially, but most financial support comes from outside donations.

New Hope Fellowship is part of the Shenandoah District of The Wesleyan Church.
